Your Starting Point Does Not Matter! - Your Past Does Not Equal Your Future!

Remember that the ONE THING all sporting heroes, authors, actors, musicians, artists, comedians, entrepreneurs, business tycoons or any celebrated achievers in any field have in common, is that when they started their journeys they were none of these things! Yet they started their journeys anyway. You too can start your journey today!

No matter what career or vocation, if your ambition is quite high, one thing you can rely upon is people will doubt you. You will have many people question whether you can do it, and they will, for reasons unknown, tell you that you cannot do it. This a bitter pill to swallow, even your friends and family who love you, may unintentionally say something to destroy your faith or self confidence that you are able to accomplish it. Others may tear you down out of pure spite or jealousy. Luckily there is only one person's opinion that has any value. Your own opinion.

Your opinion and your opinion only is all that matters in relation to your goals.

David Beckham was not born with football boots on. He believed in himself. Jimi Hendrix was not born with a guitar in his hands; he decided to become the best. J K Rowling used to live in a council flat, not the lifestyle of a famous author is it? She had her Harry Potter books turned away many times before someone decided to publish it. She knew she could do it and didn't give up, it was the publishers who didn't believe in her who lost out on the biggest investment they could ever had hoped for, but she still got to where she was going.

You can get to where you are going. It does not matter what others may say, just hold strong to the belief in yourself. If your dreams seem far away its ok. You are who are today, because all of your past thoughts added together equal who you are now. You are the total sum of all your previous thoughts. Today you continue to think, learn and grow, and it is in these new thoughts that you can change your current situation. By thinking, talking and acting a little better today than you did yesterday, you will gradually start to change as a person and this will in turn reflect in your circumstances.

Success is ongoing, it's a process, and so where ever you may be in your life currently, it matters not a bit. Your book is an open page. You can still reach where you are going by writing new chapters in your life; the best and only time is to start today.
